Mother Earth is crying and if we don’t heed her call, then we may not have a planet to live on. Fortunately, there are events that raise awareness for saving the world. Just like the Miss Earth pageant.
The contest itself is a victim of an environmental catastrophe. The coronation was to be held in Thailand but since the floods refused to recede, the contest was moved somewhere else. A strong frontrunner for the pageant is Miss Paraguay, Nicole Huber. She says she was literally a tree-hugger when she was little so we’ll see how it will help her chances.
